I'm totally shocked that the city is taking McGraw Media to court over this reality show

. I mean, I can see why they'd want to protect the NYPD's secrets, but 18 episodes?! That's a lot of compromising footage to be dealing with

. And what really gets me is that they're trying to sell it independently after they were told not to

. Like, don't they know how sensitive this stuff is? I feel like McGraw Media totally dropped the ball on this one.
And can we talk about Jordan McGraw's dad connections for a sec? Dr. Phil's empire has been all over the news lately, and it seems like McGraw Media wants to ride his coattails

. But hey, maybe that's not the point here - the point is that they broke the rules and now the city's getting hurt

I guess what I'm saying is that this lawsuit feels like a necessary step for the city to take. They need to protect their officers' safety and the trust between them and the community
