City's low crime trend is at risk, groups say

omg what's up with congress cutting funds to replace lead pipes?? like we're talking health crisis here 🤕 and they're like "meh let's cut $125 million instead of funding it" 🤑 that's just not right. cities like chicago will be affected the most, especially with all those old pipes under the ground. how are people supposed to drink safe water? 😩

🤔 just heard about those funding cuts for lead pipe replacement in the US - it's crazy how Congress can cut funds for a public health issue like this 🚽. Chicago is going to be hit hard, I'm worried about our city's residents, especially low-income families who rely on safe drinking water 💧.

🤔 just saw that Congress might cut funding to replace lead pipes in US cities 🚽😷 it's like they're not taking public health seriously enough... what if Chicago runs out of safe drinking water? 💧 and then the Bears are asking us about a new stadium 🏈 in NW Indiana, but have you seen the state of Soldier Field? 🤯 it's like they want to spend billions on a new home for the team while leaving our communities struggling with basic necessities. 💸

omg can u even believe they wanna cut funding for replacing lead pipes in chicago?? it's literally like they dont care about our health 🤯 my cousin lives in chicago and their kid had to deal with lead poisoning from a pipe in their house like whats going on?! 😡

🤔 so what's going on here? first off, can we talk about these lead pipes? i mean, come on congress is basically saying they don't care about our health. like, shouldn't funding for safe drinking water be a priority? especially in cities with old pipes that are literally a ticking time bomb.

and meanwhile, the bears are trying to build a new stadium and they're asking season ticket holders if they'd be cool with it being 20 miles away from chicago. like, what's next? building a new stadium on mars or something?

on a more positive note tho, i just listened to this amazing piano player julian davis reid and he's literally my vibe 🎹💖
