I think Shelby's not as bad as everyone's making her out to be 🤔. I mean, sure she asked the kid for help with his debts, but come on, that's just a desperate person trying to make ends meet. She didn't coerce him into committing murder, he was already planning that on his own. And yeah, maybe she had some issues in her past, but so do we all 😊. We're not born perfect, and coaches are people too. Maybe instead of demonizing her, we should be looking at the system that lets this kind of thing happen 🤷‍♀️. Like, what's the check-in process for coaches to ensure they're not abusing their power? Is it even there? It seems like an easy target to just throw the book at Shelby without really examining why these things happen in the first place 👀.

🤯 I'm literally shook by this one! Coaches are supposed to be role models and mentors, not manipulative abusers of power. This is a huge red flag for youth sports abuse everywhere. I mean, think about it - coaches have the power to make (or break) young people's lives, and some people choose to use that power for their own gain? It's just sickening. 🤕 And now we're expected to believe that this coach was "just trying to help" her player? No way, Jose! The fact that she was willing to do whatever it took to keep her secrets hidden says everything about her character. We need better accountability measures in place to protect our young athletes from predators like Shelby. 👊

omg can u believe this?! like coach briar shelby is literally supposed to be a role model for her players but she's just manipulating and controlling them like they're pawns in some twisted game 🤯. it's so messed up that she used her position of power to try and cover up her own dark secrets and maintain her rep as a respected coach. newsflash, briar: exploiting your players isn't 'helping' them, it's taking advantage of their vulnerability 💔.

and what really gets my goat is how many people are downplaying shelby's actions and saying she was just trying to help her player out. like, no way. if you're going to help someone, you do it in a way that doesn't involve putting them in harm's way, not manipulating them into committing murder 💀. this whole thing is just so disturbing and it makes me wonder how many other coaches are doing the same thing behind closed doors 🤫. we need more accountability and oversight in youth sports, stat!

🤯 This case is literally a nightmare, I'm so disturbed by it. It's just appalling that some people would use their power to manipulate and exploit young players like that. I mean, what kind of person does that? 🙅‍♀️ The fact that the coach was using her player's financial struggles to coerce them into committing a murder is just sickening.

I think this case highlights how crucial it is for parents and guardians to be involved in their kids' sports activities. We can't just leave our kids in the hands of coaches alone, no matter how well-intentioned they may seem. We need to make sure there are checks and balances in place to prevent situations like this from happening.

It's also super concerning that the coach was allegedly trying to cover up her own dark secrets. What kind of monster does that? 🤖 I'm just so glad that law enforcement was able to step in and hold her accountable for her actions. This case is definitely a wake-up call for all of us to be more mindful of our role as adults and how we impact the lives of young people. 👊

🚨 This whole thing is a total red flag for me. I mean, think about it, coaches are supposed to be role models and mentors, not manipulators and abusers of power. The fact that Shelby was willing to do whatever it took to help her player pay off debts in exchange for committing a murder is just disgusting.

And let's not forget, this isn't an isolated incident. There have been plenty of other cases where coaches have exploited their players for personal gain or to cover up their own dark secrets. It's time we start taking a closer look at the way youth sports are run and holding those in power accountable.

I think it's high time we had a national conversation about the role of coaches in our communities and how we can prevent situations like this from happening in the first place. We need to make sure that our young people are safe and protected, not just on the field, but off it too. 🏆💪
