OMG like what just happened? I'm so glad they're recalling these kids' sand products ASAP! I mean, can you even imagine if your little one inhaled some microscopic asbestos fibres? My mind's racing with all the possible outcomes... and it makes me wonder, why didn't they test these imports more thoroughly in the first place?! Was it just a coincidence that Educational Colours was supplying most of these products to major retailers? I don't think so! It seems like there might be some shady dealings going on here... Like, did Officeworks know about the testing issues beforehand and just decided to go with the flow? The fact that Shamrock Australia was also involved is super suspicious too... what's their story?!
Just heard about this... can't believe it! These colourful kiddie sand products are contaminated with asbestos . I mean, who wants to risk their kids' health just to get a fancy-schmancy art supply? The fact that the products were made in China and weren't even properly tested before they hit the shelves is super concerning. It's crazy how many lives can be at stake for something as simple as a bag of sand. I'm all for safety first, but this one just gets me...
So, I'm thinking... why did this have to happen? Like, what's the point of making these kids' sand products just to then recall them 'cause they might have asbestos? It seems like a huge oversight or something . And can you believe it was sold in major retailers across Australia? That's like, crazy talk! What if no one ever found out and everyone kept using it without knowing? The ACCC should've done more testing before letting these products hit the market, imo . I'm gonna keep an eye on this situation, for sure... will they find out who's responsible or was it just a one-off mistake?
