! A road map to phase them out is not too much to ask, especially when the science is clear and most nations are on board. It's like Brazil's presidency got cold feet or something... 
I know it's tough with Saudi Arabia and Russia breathing down their necks, but what about all those other countries that actually care about the planet? Austria, Belgium, France, Germany... they're all part of this group that says phasing out fossil fuels is a non-negotiable. And don't even get me started on the science community
- they've been saying this stuff for decades and it's just getting ignored.
It's like we're stuck in some kind of climate time loop... we know what needs to be done, but nobody wants to take action. The fire at Cop30 was a perfect metaphor for how things are going - chaos and destruction on the one hand, and all this empty talk on the other

It's like we're not taking this climate crisis seriously enough. And those countries like Saudi Arabia and Russia just applying pressure to drop it? 
It's not surprising though, given their vested interests. But still, 30+ countries that support phasing out fossil fuels are basically saying "no way" if it doesn't happen. 
What's the point of even having a climate conference then? 
The world is counting on Cop30 to deliver, but I'm not holding my breath...
