Dude , I'm loving this whole acorn thing! You know what's wild? We used to eat all sorts of crazy stuff back in my day... like canned sardines with onions (yes, really!) and Spam fritters at school gatherings . But seriously, who knew the UK was missing out on acorns? I mean, we had our fair share of weird wartime rations, but roasted acorn coffee? That's a new one! I'm actually kinda intrigued by this whole cold processing thing... my grandma used to make these crazy-fine jams using wild berries and whatnot. It's like the internet has brought back all these old recipes and traditions that we forgot about . This acorn pâté sounds pretty lit, btw!
omg I'm so down for acorns in my coffee anyone else tried them? they're like super underrated in the uk i mean we love our matcha lattes but roasted acorns are where it's at now that i've started playing around with hot leaching and cold processing methods I can see why people were hesitant to give them a go - astringent character is no joke but trust me, cold soaking makes all the difference. have you ever tried pairing it with some wild mushrooms and wood sorrel? game changer
lol what's up with ppl not even tryin acorns lol they're like the ultimate superfood i mean u can make coffee out of 'em or pâté or whatever but why not just drink the tea straight from the cistern and btw how many ppl r even aware of these methods? cold soaking is where it's at, gotta love keepin it simple
