I'm not surprised to see this happen in Cyprus... it's like they're living in a bubble . I mean, who doesn't love a good luxury yacht and expensive villas? But for the people on the ground, corruption is a real issue and it's not just about money . It's about power and influence. How can you trust someone when they're so close to the truth? And now, with parliamentary elections coming up, it's like they're trying to sweep this under the rug . I just hope the people of Cyprus wake up and demand change... because if they don't, all the fancy words won't help

OMG, this is getting out of hand ! President Nikos Christodoulides needs to be transparent about these allegations ASAP ! He can't just silence himself and expect everything to go back to normal . The fact that former officials are coming forward with claims like cash-for-access is super sus . And Charalambous quitting his charity job? Like, a total PR move . the thing that gets me is how some people think you gotta be a saint to not get caught up in corruption. i mean, it's not like christodoulides is some kind of superhero who just magically doesn't take cash from whoever wants to influence him. but at the same time, it's kinda sad that he's having to deal with this stuff right now, especially since cyprus is in charge of eu right now...

I'm gettin' some serious déjà vu vibes from this whole Cyprus corruption scandal ... Back in my day, we thought we were living in a post-corruption era, but it seems like that's just not the case anymore . I mean, who needs cash for access to the inner circle when you've got EU funds and fancy investigations? It's all a bit too much, if you ask me... so like christodoulides is tryna play dumb but this cash-for-access network is getting pretty deep man its not just some petty bribery scheme. former officials and associates are coming forward and they all point to the same thing: christodoulides uses his power for cash i mean come on, you can't just deny it when its right under your nose like that. and now his chief of staff is ghosting out of there too, which dont really help his case may be a tough road ahead for christodoulides, looks like he's gonna have to get real about this scandal soon
