Dave Dombrowski sets expectations for rest of Phillies' offseason: 'I think we're content with where we are'

😊 so i'm not sure about this one... dombrowski says phillies have a good club but losing bo bichette is like a gut punch 🤕. it's great that they re-signed realmuto and got schwartzer back, but if you ask me, it seems like the team is just trying to make do with what they have instead of going all out for the 2026 season 🤑. i mean, who wouldn't want a star player like bichette? 🤔

🤞 I think the Phillies are still gonna crush it in 2026! Losing Bichette is a tough blow, but I love that Dombrowski's keeping his cool & focusing on the players they've got. Realmuto's back, and Schwarber's re-signed - that's some solid core right there! 🤩 And who knows, maybe García surprises everyone & becomes a star? 🌟 Crawford's got some potential too, so fingers crossed he gets that everyday spot! 💪 It's all about building from what they've got, you know? 📈

I feel like the Phillies have a solid foundation to build on, you know? Like, I was really hoping for Bichette to come back but I guess the Mets snatched him up. But Dombrowski's right, they've made some great moves and we got Realmuto back which is awesome! 🙌

I'm kinda curious about Crawford though, is he gonna be able to step up? I mean, we did lose Castellanos and it's a big void in the outfield. But at the same time, if he can bounce back then that'd be amazing! 😊

It's not all bad though, we've got Schwarber and García who are both super talented so I think we'll be alright. And with Realmuto on board, our catching situation is solid. Plus, prospect development is huge so we just gotta see how it plays out. Fingers crossed for the Phillies this season! ⚾

I'm kinda surprised by how chill Philly is about losing Bo Bichette 🤔. I mean, that guy was a big get for the Mets! But it sounds like the Phillies are just going to roll with what they've got. I guess that's actually kind of smart? They've got J.T. Realmuto locked down and some other solid pieces in place. And who knows, maybe Adolis García is gonna be the next big thing 🤞. It's all about finding that balance between being optimistic and being realistic, you know? The Phillies are like "Hey, we're good with what we've got" but also "Hey, we might make a few tweaks if we need to". It's like they're saying "We're not gonna overpay for someone just because we can 😎".

I'm not sure if Philly fans are gonna be happy with this lineup... I mean, Bichette was a big get for the Mets but LVR still think Dombrowski made good moves re-signing Realmuto. Schwarber's back and García's got potential 🤔. But gotta wonder how much they really wanna spend on any other big free agents now? They're kinda stuck with what they've got.

I'm loving how optimistic Dave Dombrowski is about the Phillies' chances in 2026! 🤩 They've made some great moves to shore up their roster, like re-signing J.T. Realmuto, and I think Kyle Schwarber's return will be a game-changer for them ⚾️. Sure, losing Bo Bichette was a bummer, but they're moving on from it 💪. The fact that they're focusing on getting the most out of their existing players is really smart, and I'm excited to see what Justin Crawford brings to the table this spring 🤔🌱 #PhilliesNation #RosterRenewal #ProspectDevelopment
