Dead whale found on bow of ship at South Jersey port prompts investigation

So a giant fin whale just chillin' on a ship in Jersey... sounds like my aunt after a few too many martinis . Seriously though, this is super concerning – all these whales dying and nobody knows what's going on. Ship strikes? Entanglement? Human activity? It's like trying to figure out who ate the last donut in the break room... everyone's got an excuse! Maybe we should just stick to solar panels and leave the wind farms alone? ️

I mean, isn't it about time we figured out why our whales are dying? Like, it's not like we haven't been talking about this for years... meanwhile, offshore wind farms just keep popping up and causing some 'stranding' issues . Meanwhile, I'm sure the $3.7 million Gov. Murphy is throwing around will totally solve the problem of whale deaths in New Jersey .

I gotta say, this is a pretty freaky situation . Finding a massive fin whale like that just lying there on a ship in South Jersey port is just mind-blowing... not to mention super concerning for marine life in the area. idk why ppl need 2 b so dramatic about whl strandings lol i mean yeah its sad 4 the poor thing but lets not jump 2 conclusions n stuff i think shp strikes r a bigger prob than offshore wind lol plus we gotta c some stats n stuff befor we start blaming the industry also wut s the deffo betta plan 4 whl conservation btw

I don’t usually comment but I think it’s super concerning that we’re finding more and more whales in weird places like ships . Like, ship strikes are a major thing now and I get that they can be pretty devastating to these huge creatures. But the lack of concrete evidence on offshore wind development is kinda suspicious . I mean, I'm no scientist but it seems to me that we should be exploring all the options before just jumping to conclusions about human activities. Plus, the fact that we're finding more humpback whales than fin whales is pretty weird too . Maybe they should do a full investigation and not just pin it on ship strikes or whatever. The money allocated by Gov. Murphy might help but I don’t know if it’s enough .
