I'M SO DOWN FOR THIS! IT'S ABOUT TIME WE START VALUING ARTISTS PROPERLY ON STREAMING PLATFORMS!!! I MEAN, COME ON, A FIVE-SECOND VIDEO CLIP OF YOU SCREAMING AT THE TV CAN BE WORTH MORE THAN MOST ARTISTS EARN IN A MONTH?! IT'S JUST NOT FAIR AND WE NEED TO DO BETTER BY OUR MUSICIANS!
So I guess it's about time someone gave those artists a break... or should I say, a decent paycheck? I mean, can you imagine if the Detroit City Council told me I had to live off fractions of a cent per TikTok view? No thanks! It's cool that they're supporting this federal push to boost musicians' pay on streaming platforms. I'm all for it... as long as it means I can finally afford to stream all the music I want without breaking the bank . And let's be real, who doesn't love a good Motown vibe?
