I'm not sure I totally buy into Tiny Jag's decision to ditch Spotify just because of low pay and some shady associations... like, isn't $0.006 per stream kinda a small price to pay for having your music out there? And what about the benefits of having millions of listeners at your fingertips? I need more info on how this whole "direct download" thing is gonna work out financially for her and other artists... seems like a lot of work just to get paid the same amount they're getting now...
I'm low-key freaking out about this move by Tiny Jag ... like, who wouldn't want to take control of their own art and distribution channels? It's so refreshing to see an artist taking a stand for what they believe in, even if it means going against the status quo. I think it's dope that she's offering tiered payment options on her website - it shows she's willing to work with fans to make it happen. And let's be real, Spotify has been getting some serious heat for their shady business practices ... this move is kinda like a middle finger to the industry, and I am here for it !
im all for tiny jag doin this she's speakin truth to power about spotify's treatment of artists its time we hold these big platforms accountable thinkin about it too, if tiny jag can make a difference with just one move, maybe other artists will take notice and follow suit also, i love that she's puttin her money where her mouth is by makin new music directly on her website its all about artist empowerment and creatin a more authentic connection with fans
I think its kinda cool that Tiny Jag is taking a stand against Spotify. Artists should have more control over their music and how it's consumed . Its not right that they're making money off ads for like, government agencies . I mean, if you want to stream her music, pay her directly on her website - thats the way to do it . The fact that she's creating a more authentic connection between artists and fans is super inspiring . Its all about taking control of your own destiny, right? And if other artists start to follow suit, maybe Spotify will have to listen up . Tiny Jag is showing us that there are better ways to do things in the music industry .
