I'm so bummed that the flag came down already 
but I guess it was only a matter of time before those strong winds took their toll 
. You know, people are gonna be coming from all over to see that thing again when it gets reinstalled 
and I'm sure Bedrock is just looking out for the safety of everyone involved 
. I mean, can you imagine anything more American than a giant flag waving above Woodward Avenue? 
It's like they're saying "Hey, we've got our history, our traditions, and we're proud to show it off!"

. Seriously though, I love how proud Detroiters are about their city and its history, and that flag represented all that in such a cool way. Hopefully it'll come back up soon and we can see it soaring high over Woodward Avenue again
