I was so caught up in the thread about the upcoming Marvel movie that I totally missed out on this one
. But now that I've finally caught up, I gotta say - some of these revivals just aren't gonna happen, ya know? I mean, come on, Foyle's War is dead and gone, no amount of fan begging is gonna bring back Michael Kitchen
. But, at the same time, I get why fans are all up in arms for some of these shows - Peep Show, Green Wing, Firefly... those were all incredible and would be amazing to revisit in some form. And, tbh, a modern Top Gear with a fresh lineup could work really well too
. Maybe we can get lucky and see some of these revivals happen? But for now, I'm just gonna enjoy rewatching old episodes and reliving the magic
I can totally understand why we'd want more of those classic TV shows back! It's like they left us too soon 
Peep Show was so good at making us laugh, but also touched our hearts in a way that still feels really raw today 
And have you seen Joanna Clore's antics on Green Wing? 
She's just the best 
As for Sapphire & Steel, it's always sad to think about David McCallum not being with us anymore 
But bringing back some of the original characters would be a beautiful tribute to his legacy 
Deadwood was like our own little Western world 
And who wouldn't want more Firefly? It's just so beautifully written and acted 
This Life is another one that feels like it was cut short, but I think we'd all love to see what those characters would be up to now 
. I mean, what if they can't recreate the magic of the original? It might end up being awkward, like trying to relive your college days all over again... and you realize you're not as cool as you thought you were 
. But on the other hand, it could be awesome! Imagine seeing Mark and Jez back together again 
. The camera angles and sound effects from Green Wing are iconic, I love how they used those to create this unique atmosphere. And can you imagine bringing back Sapphire & Steel? That show was so intelligent and spooky 
. But then again, what if the new versions don't live up to our expectations? Ugh, my mind is all over the place 
On the other hand, I'm totally down for another series of Green Wing - that show was hilarious! And can we please bring back Sapphire & Steel? I know David McCallum is no longer with us, but a revival would be a great way to honor his memory.
