I'm kinda stoked that the Fed might make a rate cut, but also super worried about what it means for inflation

. I mean, they've been saying one thing (cutting rates) but doing another (trying not to raise prices). It's like, what's the plan here? The economy is already all over the place with tariffs and stuff.
I'm low-key hoping they go ahead with a rate cut, 'cause it might give people some breathing room. But at the same time, I don't wanna be caught off guard if they suddenly decide to raise rates again

. It's like, the more we know about what's going on, the better off we'll be.
I'm keeping an eye on this because it's all so unpredictable

. I mean, you've got Fed Chair Powell saying one thing (we need data) but also kinda hinting at another direction (rate cut). It's like, can't we just have a straight answer for once?
