I'm getting a bad vibe from this whole situation 
. Both Apple and Google should be allowed to decide what apps they want on their platforms, but at the same time, I get why lawmakers are upset - it does seem like there was some undue pressure being put on those companies 
. If the Justice Department is indeed investigating this, maybe we'll get some clarity on what really happened with those ICE-monitoring apps... but one thing's for sure: it's not okay to silence people just because you don't agree with their views 
. Transparency and free speech are key in a healthy democracy, so let's keep pushing for that!
