Donald Trump issues three demands to change America's elections

I feel like Trump is being really out of touch if he thinks just adding ID checks and citizenship proof is gonna fix all the voter fraud issues . I mean, come on, we've been through this before in other countries where they implemented strict ID laws and it still didn't stop people from cheating. And what about all the states that have already got their own voter ID laws? Do they not count?

I'm worried about the direction this is heading . If they really want to make voting more secure, shouldn't that come from states and local governments working together? This seems like a massive overreach by the federal government . What's next, Congress passing laws that dictate how people can exercise their right to vote in their own backyard? It just doesn't sit right with me .

We've had problems with voter fraud in the past, but have we really solved it yet? The last thing I want is a federal government trying to control every aspect of our elections. What about the states' rights to govern themselves? Don't they deserve some autonomy on this issue? man this is wild i think trump's proposal is way too broad he's trying to turn voting into some kinda super secure military operation but at the same time it's gonna be a total nightmare for people who aren't even sure where they're registered or need to vote on the road . and what's with the mail-in ballots - isn't that just common sense? like if you can mail in your taxes, why not your ballot? it's already happening everywhere else in the world

anyway i'm all for making voting more secure but trump's approach is all wrong he needs to get some bipartisan support and work with lawmakers on actual solutions rather than trying to bully his way into changing the system . it's gonna be a long fight ahead and i hope we don't end up with an election process that's even more complicated and frustrating for voters .
