Don't forget about wide receiver DJ Moore, who can still lead the Bears' passing attack if needed

Bears Receiver DJ Moore: The Unsung Hero of Chicago's Passing Attack

As the NFL playoffs approach, one name that shouldn't be forgotten by opposing defenses is DJ Moore, wide receiver for the Chicago Bears. While his production numbers may have dipped in recent seasons, a closer look reveals that he remains an elite talent and a crucial component of the team's offense.

Coach Ben Johnson's diversified passing game has shifted focus away from Moore as it once was, but make no mistake – the 27-year-old is still a top target for quarterback Caleb Williams. In fact, despite only receiving 85 targets in 2025, Moore has been instrumental in helping the Bears advance to the divisional round of the playoffs.

A key takeaway from his recent performances is that Moore can step up and lead the passing attack if needed. Last week's 64-yard winning touchdown against the Packers was a testament to this ability, showcasing his speed and agility as he outmaneuvered defenders.

Moore's impact on the team goes beyond just statistics. He's a selfless player who contributes to the success of those around him. Running back D'Andre Swift, a childhood friend of Moore's, praises his teammate's work ethic and ability to make plays despite not being the primary focus of the offense.

While rookie tight end Rome Odunze has emerged as a key player in the passing game, and rookie tight end Colston Loveland is becoming increasingly important, Moore remains a vital component of Chicago's offense. His ability to catch passes underneath and over the top makes him a difficult cover for opposing defenses.

Make no mistake – DJ Moore may not be carrying the passing game on his own, but he's always ready to step up and make plays when the situation calls for it. As the Bears face off against the Rams in the divisional round of the playoffs, one thing is clear: Moore will be a major factor in determining the outcome of the game.

idk why people don't talk more about DJ Moore lol 🤔 he's like the glue that holds the bears' passing game together and nobody mentions him 🙅‍♂️ i mean, his stats might not be crazy but he's always making plays and leading by example 💪 just saw that video of him beating up on packers defenders last week and it was wild 😲rome odunze is cool and all, but moore is still the man for me 👊 colston loveland is nice too tho, but we need to give more props to dj 🤞

I'm so hyped about DJ Moore right now 💥🔥! I mean, people say he's not getting as many targets as he used to, but that just means Coach Johnson is being smarter and playing to his strengths 🤓. And let me tell you, the guy can STEAL A GAME ON HIS OWN 🎯! That 64-yard TD against the Packers was insane! 🤯 Rome Odunze and Colston Loveland are coming up big too, but Moore's like the X-factor that just makes everything click 🔩💫. I'm all about it Bears Nation 🐻💖

👍 u guys gotta give it up for DJ MOORE!!! he's like the unsung hero of chicago's passing attack lol i mean sure he might not have as many targets but he's still making huge plays and outsmarting defenders 🤯 like last week's 64 yard TD against the packers was pure magic 🔮 ben johnson's diversified game is all about getting moore involved more often cuz when he steps up, watch out!!! 💥

idk why ppl r sayin moore's not important anymore lol, he still got skills! but yeah, ben joesph did change up the passing play, so we can't expect the same old moore to be out there gettin 100 yds every week. but he's def a key player, especially when it comes to makin plays under pressure 🤔

OMG I am SOOOO hyped for DJ Moore!!! 🤩 he's literally the most underrated player on the Chicago Bears! I mean yes, production numbers might not be as high as some other players, but trust me when I say that he's still a LEAGUE WIDE threat! 🚀 he's got that elite speed and agility, and his ability to make plays in tight spaces is insane! 🤯 plus, he's just such a great teammate, everyone loves him on the team! D'Andre Swift is right, Moore is all about putting his teammates first and making those big plays when it matters most. 💪 I'm literally rooting for the Bears against the Rams this weekend and I know DJ Moore will be ALL OVER IT 🎉

OMG, I'm so glad someone's finally giving DJ Moore the recognition he deserves 🤩 He's literally the unsung hero of that Bears passing attack. I mean, Caleb Williams relies on him so much, it's crazy! And have you seen him make those deep throws? The speed and agility of that dude is insane 😲 Like, I'm not surprised he took down those defenders last week. Moore's got game for days!

And what I love about him is how selfless he is as a player 🤝 He's always looking out for his teammates, like D'Andre Swift said, and that's what makes him so clutch. Rome Odunze and Colston Loveland might be getting more reps now, but Moore's still the one who can take over in big moments.

The Bears are gonna need all hands on deck to take down the Rams, and I'm confident Moore'll be right there in the mix 💪 Bring it on, DJ!
