omg i cant believe people still dont wash their hands before handling raw meat its so simple but its literally the most important thing in preventing food poisoning at thanksgiving lol my aunt tried to pre-stuff her turkey last year and ended up with a big ol' case of salmonella the key is to keep it separate and cook it just right dont rely on those thermometer things theyre not always accurate i personally love making my own stuffing from scratch its so worth the extra effort to get it right
omg i know this is gonna sound super lame but pls wash ur hands like 100x before cookin turkey its literally life savin lol dont risk it also thawing in fridge is def the way to go no more drippy juices everywhere & dont even get me started on cooked stuffing being left out for ages that's just a breeding ground for bacteria stick to cooking temps and u'll be golden
Food poisoning is just gonna ruin my holidays . 48 million people in America get sick every year because of food, and it's all because we're not following the rules. Turkey is like a petri dish for bacteria - just thinking about it makes me want to avoid eating it altogether . And don't even get me started on washing your turkey... who thought that was a good idea? I swear, food safety tips are like trying to predict a hurricane - they're always coming, but you never know when or where the next storm will hit . Still, it's better than being sick on Thanksgiving, I guess .
I think some of this is blown outta proportion... like what's the big deal about leftovers? As long as they're stored properly (within 2 hours), I don't see why it's a huge issue. And washing your turkey? That's not exactly rocket science... I mean, come on! It's just one of those things that's been perpetuated by food safety experts. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for being safe and responsible, but let's not overcomplicate things, right?
omg have u ever noticed how food safety is like the ultimate party crasher every year we invite all these friends over to eat and then suddenly salmonella shows up uninvited i mean come on people wash ur hands for 20 secs dont be that guy who lets bacteria win just a few tips for safer turkey day would make all the diff
