Witnesses claimed that the Amazon driver stated he had a yellow light when he crossed the intersection; however, dash cam footage revealed the light was red throughout the duration of his crossing. The sedan's driver, described as a man in his late 20s or early 30s, failed to wear his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the impact.
Sadly, the male victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was pronounced deceased. Authorities reported that Amazon truck driver did not display signs of intoxication and has yet to be charged in connection with the incident.

... but at least the police are investigating and trying to figure out what happened... I mean, we don't know all the details yet, so let's not jump to conclusions 
... maybe the driver was having a bad night or something... but yeah, it's super important for everyone to follow the rules of the road 
... and that's why they have those cameras and stuff... I just hope the family of the victim gets some answers soon 
what if the driver had stopped at that red light it could've been anyone in the car 
and yeah it's not like Amazon can't be held accountable for their driver's mistakes 
they gotta make sure those drivers are following the rules or at least monitoring them better. And poor guy, seatbelt on or off doesn't matter when you're going 60mph in a sedan... just heartbreaking 
! Can't believe some people think they can just speed through intersections without regard for others lives. Amazon needs to really look into this guy's driving record and make sure he's fit to drive their trucks. I mean, we all know how busy those drivers are, but that's no excuse to put lives at risk

I mean, can you imagine if everyone said they had a yellow light when they went through a red one? Chaos would ensue! Anyway, the fact that dash cam footage showed otherwise suggests to me that maybe our Amazon driver friend wasn't as innocent as he claimed
