I'm not sure about Alexis Petridis crowning Dry Cleaning as album of the week just yet... Don't get me wrong, Secret Love has some great tracks, but I think it's still a bit too laid back for my taste

. Florence Shaw's lyrics are always intriguing, but I do wish she'd keep pushing herself to be more experimental with her sound

. That being said, the production by Cate Le Bon is top notch and adds a new layer of depth to Dry Cleaning's music

. "Cruise Ship Designer" is definitely a standout track and has sparked some interesting conversations - it's always great to see bands subverting expectations

. Overall, I think Secret Love is an improvement over their previous work, but I'd love to hear what they come up with next... maybe something a bit more avant-garde?
