Earthquake with 6.5 magnitude rattles southern and central Mexico, killing 2

man... this just shows us how quick life can turn around 🤯, one minute you're going about your day, next thing you know buildings are crumbling and people's lives are changed forever. its a reminder that we gotta always be prepared for the unexpected & take care of ourselves & our loved ones before disaster strikes.

its also a testament to human resilience - those in Acapulco who had prepared kits & evacuated their homes saved themselves from harm, but many more got lucky by accident 😅, and then there are those who even lost their lives. its just another reminder to appreciate the little things & never take life for granted ❤️
 
Ugh, this is just so heartbreaking 🤕! The way those thousands got shaken up and left feeling all lost and stuff, it's like... what can you even do? You prep for earthquakes and then they still happen and no one's fully ready. And yeah, it's not just the death toll that's a problem, but the damage to buildings and homes too... I mean, hospitals are supposed to be safe spaces, right? 🏥💔 The fact that patients had to get evacuated due to structural issues is just insane.

And can we talk about communication networks for a sec? Like, how hard is it to keep people connected during an emergency? You'd think with all the tech we have now, we should be way more prepared than this. But I guess that's just another thing on our bucket list of "fixing stuff in Mexico"... 🤦‍♀️💻
 
OMG, THIS IS SO TRAGIC!!! 🤕😩 I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THERE WERE TWO PEOPLE LOST IN SUCH A DISASTER! AND THOUSANDS MORE SHAKEN UP! IT'S LIKE, ONE MINUTE YOU'RE GOING ABOUT YOUR DAY, THE NEXT MINUTE THE EARTH IS SHAKING AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! 🌎😲 I FEEL SO BAD FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR HOMES AND INNOCENTLY SUFFERED DURING THIS EARTHQUAKE! 😞 AND HOW SCARY MUST IT BE WHEN THE SEISMIC ALARMS GO OFF AND YOU'RE JUST LIKE "WHAT'S HAPPENING?!"?! 🤯😱
 
I'm not surprised that this happened 🤔. I mean, 6.5 magnitude is pretty intense. Like, how are we supposed to prepare for these things? Everyone's always talking about earthquakes and whatnot, but when it actually happens, there's no time to react.

And don't even get me started on the emergency kits... like, who thought that was a good idea? 'Hey, let's just make some fake earthquake supplies and call it a day.' It's not like it's going to save your life or anything 😒. And what's with the communication networks being disrupted? That's just great. Now people are stuck in the dark.

I feel bad for the people who lost their homes and stuff, but at the same time, I'm kinda expecting this kind of thing to happen. It's like, we've been hearing about earthquakes for years now. When are we going to take action? 💔
 
OMG u guys this earthquake was super scary!! i feel so bad 4 those who lost their homes & lives 🤕💔 500 aftershocks?! thats crazy! and they say in some areas didnt have signal tho 😩😭 i just hope everyone is ok & that the gov is doin a good job helpin out those affected 👍🏼️‍♀️
