Just think about it... if someone from another country just walks into a US embassy thinking they own the place? 
That's some crazy stuff. I mean, we all know how important our diplomatic missions are, and now this guy shows up like he can just waltz in and start doing whatever he wants? 
Not cool, not at all.It's like, come on, US immigration agents... you gotta respect international boundaries. If someone says no to entering the embassy, then that's a hard "no". You can't just push your way in or threaten people to get what you want. That's not how it works.

This is just so concerning... I mean, I get that there are tensions between Ecuador and the US over immigration issues, but come on! Can't they find a way to resolve their differences without resorting to this kind of behavior? 
The fact that an ICE agent felt it was okay to try and intimidate consulate staff just because he wanted in is absolutely unacceptable. And what really gets my goat is that the consulate officials stood up for themselves and refused to let him in - they didn't back down or compromise their security, which is exactly what we need more of in these kinds of situations!
