Election officials draw on sobering 2020 lessons as Trump calls for nationalizing voting

I'm soooo confused 🤯, like I know we gotta protect our democracy and all, but at the same time, can't we just chill out about voter fraud? 😒 It feels like this whole thing is super polarized, you know? Trump's plan to "nationalize voting" is like, alarmingly similar to what happened in 2020... but on the other hand, I get why he's doing it - those election officials were totally under threat and it was super unfair. 🤕

I mean, I'm all for making sure our elections are secure, but do we really need to take over local control? That sounds like a recipe for disaster 🔥. And what about all the election experts who say Trump's got some power to influence elections, but that his power is limited by courts? 🤔 Like, how can we trust anyone when it feels like there's always going to be some drama?

Ugh, I just don't know what to think anymore 😩. Maybe we should just focus on making sure everyone has access to voting booths and stuff... 🤷‍♀️
