Environment Agency faces landfill tax bill worth millions to clear illegal waste

Ugh I'm so mad about this 🤯... I mean what's the point of having an Environment Agency if they're just gonna leave sites like Wigan House Road in a mess? It's literally heartbreaking to hear local kids can't play outside because it's toxic and stinky. And the EA is all 'oh we can't do anything' when £4.5 million isn't even that much compared to what organized crime gangs are making off of this tax loophole...£2,500 per load? That's insane! 🤑 We need better oversight and more transparency from these agencies so we can finally tackle this problem properly. It's not like the government is doing their job or something... 🤷‍♀️
 
I'm shocked that the Environment Agency is being held back by this landfill tax nonsense 🤯. I mean, we're talking about people's health and safety here, and they can't even tackle a site without going broke. It's like they're trapped in a cycle of bureaucratic red tape 💸. Ugh 🤯 this is so sad... I live near Wigan and can imagine how awful it must be for the kids who have to play outside in toxic fumes all day . £2,500 profit from just one lorryload of waste is insane 🤑 its like they're encouraging these organised crime groups to keep dumping . The EA should be doing so much more than just cleaning up a few sites... they need to crack down on the gangs and make sure taxpayers aren't getting ripped off .

I've lived in the UK all my life and I'm ashamed of what's happening here. Our planet is already struggling with pollution and climate change, and now we're creating our own problems by turning a blind eye to waste dumping . We need better governance and more support for people affected by these issues .

The £1 billion annual bill is just ridiculous... that's money that could be spent on helping our environment instead of lining the pockets of crime groups 🤑. I hope the EA and government agencies do something about this ASAP... we can't keep suffering in silence .
