Erdogan’s political fate may be determined by Turkey’s Kurds | CNN

so like this is crazy right 🤯 the pro-Kurdish party just decided not to field their own candidate for president which means whoever wins will kinda be supported by the Kurds but we dont no how much they wanna support Erdogan or his rival kemal kilicdaroglu 🤔 its like a big gamble for the HDP and the future of turkey is literally hanging in the balance 💥 and whats up with the turkish government being so harsh on the kurdish people all those years ago it just seems so unfair 😞 but maybe now thats gonna change with this new election or something 🤞

omg, this is crazy! 🤯 so the pro-Kurdish party is basically giving up on their own candidate and letting their supporters vote for Erdogan's rival? that's wild... i mean, it makes sense considering all the persecution they've faced from the Turkish government, but still... it feels like a huge risk to me. what if they're right and it pays off? 🤔 on the other hand, what if they get found out and their whole party gets shut down? 😱 i'm also curious about why they decided not to field a candidate... is it because they don't think they can win or something? 🤷‍♀️

and have you seen the stats on how many Kurds live in Turkey? 15-20% of the population is like, a huge chunk! 😲 i wonder if that's part of why Erdogan has been trying to appease them all these years... to get their vote and keep them happy. 🤑 but it's also super complicated because of all the history and tensions between the Turkish government and Kurdish people. 🤝 what do you think, does this make sense to you? 😊
