I think its pretty shady how google is treating news media sites. I mean, they're basically forcing them to pay for better visibility on their search engine, and thats just not right 
. Its like google is trying to take advantage of these small publishers who are already struggling to stay afloat.
And the thing is, if google is found guilty, it could be devastating for them too
. They might have to give up some of that sweet ad revenue they're making off of all this commercial content. I think its time for europe to step in and make sure these publishers are treated fairly 
.
But at the same time, i can see why google would want to prioritize anti-spam policies over news media
. Its a tough one. Do we want to protect small publishers or do we want to keep those ads coming? I dont have the answer to that
