Ex-British army chief calls on ministers to back MDMA-assisted therapy for veterans

This MDMA thingy can't hurt, right? I mean, it's already helped 71% of people with PTSD symptoms disappear... well, not literally, but you know what I mean 😊. It's crazy how much money is being wasted on regulations and stuff, though. £10k for a gram is bloody insane! 🤑

Martin Wade's story is super depressing, but at the same time, it gives me hope that this MDMA therapy could be the answer to his problems. He seems like a really down-to-earth guy who just wants to live without all these nightmares haunting him.

I'm not saying it's gonna be easy, and we need more research and stuff, but it's worth a shot, you know? It's time for the gov to step up and do something about this PTSD crisis. £80k per veteran might seem like a lot, but if it means saving lives... I mean, what's the point of having all that money if we're just gonna waste it on bureaucratic nonsense? 🤑

Anyway, fingers crossed that Sir Nick Carter's plea gets some traction and we can finally see some real progress in PTSD treatment. This could be the breakthrough we need, you feel me? 💥

🤔 I mean, who doesn't love the idea of using a party drug to cure PTSD? Like, it sounds like the military equivalent of a Sunday night hangover cure! But seriously, if a study found that 71% of people went from being totally messed up to totally fine after taking MDMA, then yeah, let's give it a shot! 🎉 I mean, £10,000 for a gram? That's like, a small fortune for some people, but if it can literally change lives... 💸

And can you imagine the looks on their faces when they tell their grandkids about how Grandpa/Grandma was once a total mess, but then took MDMA and became a totally different person?! 😂 "Hey, kiddo, don't worry about Grandpa's PTSD. He just needed to take some magic powder... 💫"

🤕 This is just another example of how the system is broken for veterans struggling with PTSD 🚫. They're being held back by bureaucratic red tape and overpriced trials 😩. It's like they're being forced to relive their traumas all over again 💔. And what really gets my goat is that some big pharma company is gonna make a killing off this 'breakthrough' treatment 💸. I mean, come on! 🙄 We need real change, not just token gestures from politicians who don't get it 👊. The fact that 71% of participants showed complete elimination of PTSD symptoms is great and all, but what about the ones who didn't? What about those who can't afford £80,000 worth of therapy? 🤷‍♂️ It's just not right. We need to do better for our veterans, stat! ⏰

I'm like totally worried about these veterans struggling with PTSD 🤕. It's heartbreaking to hear them speak about their experiences and how conventional therapies aren't helping them. If only they could find something that works, right? The idea of using MDMA as a treatment option is really interesting - I mean, if 71% of participants showed complete elimination of symptoms, that's like, super promising! 🤓 But £10,000 for a single gram of medical-grade MDMA is crazy expensive. Can't we find a way to make it more affordable? Like, £80,000 worth of therapy per veteran could be life-changing for them... why aren't they getting this help yet? 🙄

omg i cant even imagine being a vetr with ptsd its like theyre living a never ending nightmare 🤕🌪️ and mdta sounds like it could really help but £10k a gram is literally insane lol what kind of system do we have in the uk where a party drug can be that expensive? 🤑 anyway i think siri nicks call for ease of restrictions on mdta is super reasonable and hope this charity reaches their goal soon 🤞 those vets need all the help they can get and art therapy sounds like a game changer for martin wade's story btw 🎨💕

omg can't believe they're still treating veterans like experiments 🤯 £10k for one gram of MDMA is insane!!! the fact that 71% of participants showed complete elimination of PTSD symptoms is crazy 💥 what's holding them back from making it more accessible?? the charity is doing its part but £2m isn't going to cut it with the current prices 🤑 this could be a game-changer for so many ppl struggling with PTSD who've been failed by conventional treatments 💔
