this is really sad news, it's like the gov't is getting more aggressive by the day 
and now this poor guy pays the price 
i feel bad for his family and friends who are struggling to cope with this loss. we need to keep talking about human rights and democracy in cameroon, especially when those who fight for them are taken away from us 
it's a tragedy what happened to anaket, but his legacy lives on 
and the international community is right to call out the gov't for its actions 
this is so sad... I cant believe a guy like Ekane who was just trying to speak out against the gov't got taken away from us 
he wasnt doing anything wrong, just trying to make a difference. its not right that his fam had to suffer thru all this. the gov't needs to take responsibility for his death and make sure they dont do it again 
we need to stand with Ekane's family and keep fighting for justice and human rights in Cameroon 
. It's like the government is saying "sorry, buddy, you wanted to be a thorn in our side? now you're just a footnote in history". The US embassy showing up to condemn it is cute, but I'm sure they'll still do nothing about it...

he was in detention on corrupt charges but that's no excuse for them to neglect his health condition 
it's like they're trying to send a message to other opposition leaders that if you speak out against them, you'll face the same fate
