I'm literally freakin out right now , can't believe what's going on with our government... I mean, I've been living in fear since day 1 of Trump's term, but this is just crazy . First, they start threatening Venezuela and now they're trying to reorganize the military in Africa? It sounds like a total disaster waiting to happen . The way they're downsizing commands and curtailing commanders' powers makes me think they're not even trying anymore . And let's be real, the US has had some major setbacks in Africa, so I'm all for a new approach that prioritizes diplomacy over military force . We need to start listening to experts and addressing root causes like poverty and inequality . It's time to stop waging war on narco-terrorists and start working with local nations to solve problems peacefully .

Trump's "Donroe Doctrine" sounds like a recipe for disaster - what's next? gonna start backing coups in Latin America or start a proxy war with China?

I mean think about it... the US military's record in Africa is already dismal, what makes you think this new approach is gonna be any better . It's all just more of the same old militarized thinking that's causing so many problems around the world . And what about the human cost? 49,000 deaths in Somalia and the Sahel alone - that's like a small country's population lost to violence .

And let's not forget about Venezuela... this is just more of Trump's " America First" nonsense . The US attack on Venezuela was always going to be a failed policy, but now it's being used as some kind of justification for further aggression . It's like the US is trying to create its own version of the Middle East crisis - only this time with guns and bombs instead of oil .

I'm not sure what's more worrying - the fact that Trump's reorganization plan is going ahead, or the fact that no one seems to be questioning it . Where's the debate? where's the criticism? it feels like we're sleepwalking into a war with no clear exit strategy .
