gotta say, this whole "Minnesota nice" thing still got me thinking - like, how can one culture be so obsessed with being polite and friendly? 
it's either super admirable or super suffocating. Marge Gunderson is definitely a hero, but at the same time, I feel like she's also perpetuating this ideal of kindness that might not always be realistic or practical.and can we talk about how eerily relevant this film feels right now?
I mean, domestic terrorism and violent acts against innocent people... it's heartbreaking. But what's also true is that the bravery of Minnesotans in standing up for each other is something to be celebrated too 
I think that's what makes Fargo such a powerful film - it shows us the complexity of human nature, and how even in dark times, there's always hope for change
