OMG u guys I'm literally shaking thinking about this lady Theresa Stott & her 2 little girls they were left homeless bcz of a fire in their apartment complex!!! I mean what kind of landlord just ignores all these safety issues & neglects their tenants? It's like they didn't even care that the building was a death trap! And to think that Stott had already obtained a personal protection order bcz of a neighbor who threatened them?! That's just insane!!! The fact that smoke alarms weren't working in her apartment & she couldn't hear any warnings is just sickening... how are people allowed to get away with this kind of neglect? The city had all these reports of issues since 2016 & did nothing! It's like they were just waiting for something terrible to happen so they could say "we told u so" Stott's GoFundMe campaign is a great idea btw, let's all chip in to help her & her girls
I'm like totally torn on this one ... I mean, what if the landlord's people are telling the truth about those smoke alarms not working? Maybe Theresa just misremembered or something ... But at the same time, if she says she called 911 and there was smoke everywhere, it does sound pretty suspicious ... And don't even get me started on all those years of neglect - that's just crazy ... Like, what kind of management doesn't fix things when they know about them? ... I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out ... Maybe justice will be served for Theresa and her girls ... or maybe not ...
