Fitbit users who initially had until February 2nd to transfer their data to a Google account now have an additional three months, with the deadline extended to May 19th. Google had announced that after this date, Fitbit accounts would be deleted and historical data tied to those accounts would no longer be accessible unless it was downloaded or kept when migrating to a Google account.

And what's the deal with no clear explanation from Google? They just keep pushing the deadline back, like they're playing a game of "don't lose the data"

According to my research, in 2024, Fitbit users were already having trouble migrating their data due to some technical issues 
. Anyway, did you know that the average person uses a fitness tracker for around 6 months before abandoning it
