Foo Fighters Plot Los Angeles Benefit Show on Dave Grohl's 57th Birthday

Foo Fighters to Stage Benefit Concert for LA's Homeless on Frontman Dave Grohl's Birthday

In a heartwarming gesture, Foo Fighters will host a benefit concert in Los Angeles on January 14 at the Kia Forum, with all proceeds going towards two organizations working tirelessly to combat poverty, homelessness, and hunger: Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission. The show is also conveniently timed to coincide with frontman Dave Grohl's 57th birthday.

As an advocate for these causes, Grohl has been vocal about his support for both organizations. When asked how he wants to celebrate this milestone birthday, Grohl humorously replied that making noise with friends for a good cause was the perfect way to spend it. "This ain't just a big rock show; it's a big party with a heart," he wrote in a statement, urging fans to "turn up the volume, turn up the hope."

To ensure tickets don't fall into the wrong hands, Foo Fighters have implemented a unique ticketing system for local fans. On December 7 at noon, fans can line up in person at the Kia Forum box office in Inglewood, California, to purchase four tickets each using a physical credit or debit card. The catch? Each fan will be limited to just four tickets.

To make this event even more special, Grohl and his wife Jordyn have kindly requested that fans bring donations for Hope the Mission, which include socks and underwear, dried pinto beans, spaghetti or macaroni, and dried rice (all bagged). Unfortunately, canned goods and perishable items won't be accepted.

The benefit concert is a testament to Foo Fighters' long-standing commitment to giving back. As Rowan Vansleve, President of Hope the Mission, noted, "This concert will be more than just a celebration; it's a statement that we're all in this together to end homelessness in our city." The band and their fans have always shown a remarkable willingness to lend a helping hand when people need it most.

With Foo Fighters' 2026 stadium tour already announced, fans will soon have the opportunity to catch their favorite rockers live on stage.

🀟😊 can you believe Foo Fighters are hosting a benefit concert for LA's homeless on Dave Grohl's birthday? It's like, they're just spreading love and positivity wherever they go πŸŽ‰πŸ’–! And the best part is that all the proceeds will be going towards two amazing orgs that are literally changing lives. I'm def hyped to see this show happen 🀩🎢. The fact that Grohl wants to celebrate his birthday with a good cause and not some lavish party is just so inspiring πŸ’–. Let's keep spreading hope and kindness wherever we go πŸ’•!

omg u gotta love foo fighters they're literally doin the right thing on dave grohls bday πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‚ what's even better is dat they got a special ticketing system in place 2 ensure its not just about sellin out a show but actually makin a diff πŸ™Œ fans r goin all out by bringin donations too, talk bout turnin up the volume & turnin up da hope πŸ‘ hope the mission & la mission r gonna get dat dough & make some real change in los angeles πŸ’Έ

man its so great to see artists like dave grohl using their platform for good 🀘 foo fighters are always a blast to watch live and now they're doing it all for an awesome cause πŸŽ‰ hope the mission and la mission are gonna get some serious cash to help out those in need... i remember when dave used to be in nirvana, he was already so passionate about music and giving back πŸ™ 57 is a great age btw, still got that rockstar energy πŸ’ͺ

man i dont know if im buying this whole benefit concert thing...i mean dont get me wrong dave grohl is a cool guy and all but come on 4 tickets each for local fans? that sounds like they're just giving them away for free πŸ€‘ its just gonna be a big event with a bunch of rich people in the audience who are only there for the party vibes. what about the poor folks out there who actually need help? maybe instead of throwing some money at the problem we should be figuring out ways to really tackle homelessness and poverty in la?

🀘 just heard about Foo Fighters doin a benefit concert in LA and I'm so hyped πŸŽ‰. Dave Grohl's birthday is like, the perfect excuse to give back to the community. It's great to see bands using their platform for good. 🌟 they're even askin people to bring donations, not just cash πŸ’Έ. It's all about spreadin love and support for those in need ❀️

come on, who needs that many tickets? four per fan is just gonna push more people out there than needed and let's be real, some folks are just gonna wanna resell them online for a sick profit πŸ˜’. what about the rest of us who want to go but can't afford the extra hassle? also, socks and underwear? really? can't they just take in whatever we got?

The Foo Fighters are just the best 🀟! I mean, who wouldn't want to see one of the greatest bands of all time play a benefit concert for a great cause? It's like they're saying, "Hey, let's make some noise and do something good at the same time!" And I love that Dave Grohl is doing this on his birthday - it's the perfect way to celebrate life. The ticketing system sounds kinda weird, but hey, if it gets more people involved, who cares? Bring those socks and underwear, everyone! It's gonna be a rockin' good time πŸŽΈπŸ‘

I love this! 🀘 It's amazing that Dave Grohl is using his platform to make a difference, especially on his birthday πŸŽ‰. This benefit concert is exactly what we need more of - people coming together for a good cause πŸ’–. The fact that they're implementing a ticketing system to prevent scalpers from buying up all the tickets is genius πŸ‘. And can you imagine the energy in that venue when it's packed with fans showing their support for a great cause? 🎢 It's gonna be an unforgettable night! 🀩

man thats cool i guess foo fighters are gonna make some noise for those in need but like 4 tickets per person is kinda harsh lol cant even get a decent spot at the show they gotta limit it to just 4 tho might as well just give everyone free tix and be done with it anywho hope the mission and la mission are really getting that money

Man... I'm getting all chills thinking about this 🀩. You know, back in my day, we didn't have these huge benefit concerts with all the big names doing it for a good cause. It's amazing how much of a difference one person can make, like Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters, they're literally using their platform to raise awareness and funds for these awesome organizations πŸŽΈπŸ’–.

And I love that they're making it easy for fans to get tickets, but also limiting them so everyone gets a chance. It's like, back in my day, we used to have to wait in line for hours just to score tickets to see our favorite bands... now it's all about accessibility and fairness 🀝.

I'm also super touched by the fact that they're asking fans to bring donations, like socks and dried rice, it's not just about throwing some cash at the problem, it's about being hands-on and making a real difference in people's lives ❀️. I mean, who wouldn't want to celebrate Dave Grohl's birthday with their favorite band doing an epic benefit concert? πŸŽ‰

omg can't believe foo fighters are doing this 🀩 they're literally using their platform for good and it's so inspiring! dave grohl is the ultimate sweetheart for wanting to use his birthday to make a difference πŸŽ‰ also that ticketing system to prevent scalpers from getting tickets is genius πŸ’‘ gotta get those fans involved & give back at the same time

can't even 🀩 its amazing that dave grohl is doing this benefit concert for his birthday and all the fans are gonna be able to get tickets too, not just some fancy exclusive event lol. i love how he's making it a party with a heart ❀️ and its so cool that fans can bring donations for hope the mission, even though they gotta be specific about what to bring, at least its something, right? πŸ€—

The more I think about this benefit concert for LA's homeless, the more I'm reminded of how some politicians have been dodging taking concrete actions against poverty and homelessness πŸ€”. Like, when will they actually put their money where their mouth is? Meanwhile, Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters are out here making a tangible difference in the community. It's kinda like the difference between rhetoric and action, you know? The fans are all hyped up about turning up for a good cause, but what's happening on Capitol Hill that's gonna make real change happen? Shouldn't we be seeing more organizations like Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission getting funding from our elected officials instead of relying on charity events? It's time to get our politicians involved in solving this complex issue, rather than just being bystanders 🎸

🎸 that's so cool! i love how dave grohl is actually doing something super meaningful with his birthday πŸŽ‚. it's not just about celebrating another year of life, but using it as a chance to make a difference for people in need. kudos to him and the foo fighters for hosting this benefit concert πŸ™Œ

πŸ€— I love how Dave Grohl is using his platform to make a difference! It's so inspiring to see him and Foo Fighters giving back in such a big way πŸŽΈπŸ’– The whole idea of having fans bring donations for Hope the Mission is genius – it's like a community effort πŸ’•. And can we talk about how awesome it is that they're making tickets more accessible by having a line-up system? It shows that they care about their local fans and want to make sure everyone gets a chance to attend 🎟️. I'm definitely getting my family together and heading to the Kia Forum on January 14! We'll be there with donations in hand πŸ’ΈπŸ‘

omg u guys this is so cool foo fighters r doing an amazing thing 🀟 by hosting this benefit concert for la's homeless its like dave grohl is literally using his birthday as an excuse to spread love & kindness ❀️ i mean who wouldn't wanna turn up the volume & support good causes? the fact that they're making it easy for local fans to get tickets & bringing donations to help those in need is just so heartwarming 🎁 cant wait to see them live on stage next year!

OMG, this is so awesome!!! 🀩 Dave Grohl's birthday concert for LA's homeless is literally the best thing I've seen all year! Foo Fighters are doing it right, using their platform to make a real difference. Limiting tickets to 4 per person is such a good idea, no way fans can just scam the system and ruin it for others. And Jordyn Grohl's donation request is so sweet! Who wouldn't want to bring some socks or dried rice to support those in need? 🎁 It warms my heart to see people using their platform for good. I'm definitely gonna try to get tickets, fingers crossed! 🀞

omg is that a thing where rich bands do charity concerts on their birthday lol idk how i feel about only 4 tix per person tho seems like they dont wanna let everyone in πŸ€” anyway im sure its for a good cause and dave grohl sounds super nice 😊 what kinda socks are they looking for btw?
