Football transfer rumours: Liverpool in for Van de Ven? Troy Parrott to Leeds?

Liverpool have reportedly set their sights on Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven as they continue to circle the English club's squad. The Dutchman has been a mainstay at Spurs since his arrival in 2020 but Thomas Frank's team has struggled with injuries and form, making Van de Ven an attractive target for Liverpool.

In return, Spurs are said to be willing to let go of midfielder Curtis Jones, who could potentially join Juventus on a deal worth £13m-£17m. Meanwhile, Juventus is also in the running for Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa.

The Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus has been linked with a possible move from Arsenal back to Palmeiras, where his career began. However, he wants a new deal at Arsenal and may only make a summer switch if one doesn't materialize.

Manchester United are on the hunt for Barcelona midfielder Marc Casadó and Sunderland's Noah Sadiki, who both impressed since signing with the respective clubs over the summer.

Leeds United have reportedly made a £20m offer for Republic of Ireland hat-trick hero Troy Parrott, but only if City accepts their bid. The move would likely hasten the exit of Joël Piroe from Leeds.

Celtic are under pressure to make signings and Martin O'Neill is sizing up a loan move for Lorient's Ivorian forward Mohamed Bamba as well as making an option to buy part of the package available for Belgian midfielder Arne Engels, who is on RB Leipzig's radar.

Meanwhile, Barcelona could be looking at La Real goalkeeper Álex Remiro in search of a new shot-stopper. With Remiro entering the final year of his contract this summer, Barça may be able to pick him up for around €10m. The long-serving Marc-André ter Stegen is set to join Girona on loan.

Lastly, Bournemouth has rejected Juventus' interest in Argentine defender Marcos Senesi and will retain the player despite his contract expiring in the summer. Ipswich Town have also been linked with Bristol City's attacking midfielder Anis Mehmeti, who runs out of time at Ashton Gate this summer.

just saw liverpool sniffing around micky van de ven again 🤔, i think spurs are being pretty reckless letting him go for £13m-£17m tho... i mean, he's a decent defender, sure, but tottenham need to strengthen their squad and not just get rid of their problems 💸

Ugh I'm so sick of these transfer rumors 🤯, can't they just announce something already? I mean I know I'm on a forum about football but it feels like no one can agree on anything 😒. Liverpool want Van de Ven and Spurs are willing to sell Jones, but is that really worth £13-£17m? Meanwhile Juventus is trying to poach Chiesa from Liverpool... what's going on with this transfer market? 🤷‍♂️ Can't they just have one solid rumor for once?

I'm loving the transfer drama unfolding right now 🤯💬 Liverpool are really sniffing around Tottenham's Van de Ven? Could be a game-changer for Jurgen Klopp's team... and Spurs need to sort their squad ASAP 👊 I'm not sure about Curtis Jones though, he's always been a bit inconsistent ⏰. And what's up with Arsenal and Gabriel Jesus? Is he really gonna stay put or leave? 🤔

I think Liverpool trying to sign Micky van de Ven is a pretty smart move 🤔. Spurs have been struggling lately and it's no secret they're not exactly swimming in cash 💸. Plus, Van de Ven has been solid for them since he joined. It'll be interesting to see if Curtis Jones can get the nod at Spurs or if Juventus come knocking on his door ⏰.

So Liverpool is trying to poach Micky van de Ven from Spurs, but I'm not surprised really... it just shows how weak Liverpool's defense is, imo 😒. They need someone with experience and quality, and Van de Ven fits the bill. And as for Tottenham, they're just throwing their best midfielder Curtis Jones out like he's nothing 🤷‍♂️. Meanwhile, Spurs' struggles with injuries and form are a perfect example of how a team can fall apart if they don't spend money wisely 💸.

And what's up with Manchester United targeting two players from Sunderland? Are they trying to rebuild their squad or just splashing cash around like some other teams 🤑? Leeds United's offer for Troy Parrott is interesting, but I think City will want more than £20m... they've got to keep Piroe in the squad, he's one of their top players 🔴.

Barcelona's interest in La Real's Remiro is a smart move, you know... goalkeepers are always in demand, and with ter Stegen leaving, they're basically out in the cold 🤦‍♂️. And Bournemouth rejecting Juventus' offer for Senesi just shows how smart their scouting department has been lately - good job, Bournemouth! 👏

idk why clubs are always trying to sell their players lol? cant they just make a strong team and not need to move people around? think liverpool and spurs would be better off keeping their squad together than constantly changing them

I think Liverpool are being pretty sensible here, I mean, Van de Ven is solid, but they don't need to break the bank for him 🤑. And £13m-£17m for Jones? No way, Curtis should be worth so much more than that 💸. On the other hand, Spurs would be crazy not to let go of him. Juventus getting Chiesa makes sense though, he's had a pretty rough ride with Liverpool.

I'm also loving the Leeds vs City drama 🤣. If they don't get Parrott, it's gonna be tough for them to lose Piroe. Celtic need to sort out their signings ASAP, O'Neill is doing his job but they can't keep relying on loan moves 🙄. And Barcelona getting Remiro might not be a bad idea, he's had an okay run at La Real. Overall, it's gonna be a pretty interesting summer in the Premier League 😁

I don’t usually comment but... Liverpool seem like they're getting desperate since Van de Ven is an old signing 🤔. They should be focusing on younger players instead of settling for someone with a lot of potential already wasted. Curtis Jones to Juventus would be a nice bit of business, though - £13-17m is a good price for him 💸. And what's up with Manchester United targeting two defenders in one transfer window? I don't think their backline needs that much work 🤷‍♂️. Leeds United offering 20 million quid for Troy Parrott seems like a lot, though - City should be willing to let him go if they're not getting any younger 💪.

🤔 I'm not sure if Liverpool really need to strengthen their defense with Micky van de Ven 🙃. They've got Alisson and Lenny Mazake as decent goalkeepers now, and can't forget about Joe Gomez coming back from his injury. Can't blame Spurs for letting go of Curtis Jones tho, he hasn't been impressing as much lately 😐. Also I don't think Juventus is a good fit for him. And on the other hand, Federico Chiesa could be a great signing for Liverpool if they can get him 😊. What do you guys think about this transfer news?

just saw that Liverpool are eyeing Micky van de Ven from Tottenham... i think Spurs need him more now with all their injuries and whatnot 🤔. but Curtis Jones is a talented mid, don't wanna see him go 😐. on the other hand, Federico Chiesa would be a great addition for Liverpool... i'm rooting for them to sign him 💪. and omg, Gabriel Jesus wants a new deal at Arsenal? why not give him one? 🤷‍♂️

💡 "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." 🌟

I think Tottenham needs a shake up and losing Van de Ven could be the catalyst for some much needed change. They've been struggling since his arrival, so bringing him back to Liverpool might just do the trick. On the other hand, if Spurs want to keep Curtis Jones, they'll have to move quickly because Juventus is sniffing around 🐕. Liverpool and Tottenham are locked in a transfer battle, with both sides trying to find that elusive balance between quality and cost 💸.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus is stuck in limbo, wanting a new deal but possibly heading back to Palmeiras 🤔. It's always tough for players when they want more than the club can offer. Leeds United might just have a chance with Troy Parrott, but it all depends on City's response 😬.

Man, Liverpool gotta make a move for Van de Ven ASAP 🤔! He's been lighting up that Spurs defense since 2020 and I think he'd be a game-changer for the Reds. Curtis Jones is a decent midfielder, but let's be real, he's no Van de Ven 😂. And have you seen Chiesa play? That guy's a magician on the pitch! He deserves to go back to his homeland and bring some joy to Liverpool fans.

I'm loving the Spurs side of this transfer window though - they need to get that squad firing on all cylinders ASAP. And I hope Van de Ven makes it happen for them, he's been through the struggles at Spurs and now it's time for him to shine 🌟.

omg i love transfer season so much 🤩😁 i think liverpool making a move for micky van de ven would be sick 🔥 he's such a great defender! and i'm not sure what to make of juventus wanting federico chiesa, they've got him on loan from roma already 💭 anyway, cant wait to see what other moves happen this summer 🎉

OMG what a crazy transfer window it's gonna be 🤯! Liverpool trying to poach Van de Ven from Spurs? That would be insane 💥! And then there's that juicy deal between Juventus and Liverpool for Chiesa? I'm low-key hoping Arsenal gets Jesus back, he's been missing since his move 😔. Leeds offering 20m for Parrott is a great start tho ⚽👏. Can't wait to see what the rest of summer brings 🤞!
