I'm not sure about this new director appointment ... I mean, Daniel Weiss has got some big shoes to fill after Sasha Suda's exit. He's got a solid track record from his time at the Met, but he also took some heat for some of their decisions, like that whole $25 admission rate thing . And now, he's gotta navigate this drama with sacking one director and all . Still, I guess it's good to see a fresh face, and 2028 is a pretty long time to figure things out ... let's hope the Caliphia Art Museum gets back on track
Ugh, I remember when we used to have real art directors who cared about the art, not just about making money . Daniel Weiss seems like another corporate type trying to save a sinking ship . I mean, $25 admission rate in 2018? What's next, charging visitors for air? . And now he's taking over at Philly Art Museum after Suda got canned due to some shady drama . I hope he can fix the place before it's too late . It'll be interesting to see how he handles the whole 'fresh start' vibe . One thing for sure, not like the good old days when we had artists actually creating something meaningful .
just hope dan weiss brings some much-needed stability to phila art museum after sasha suada's whole drama . i mean, $25 admission outside ny state? really? anyway, someone needs to watch their back since suda was firing people left and right . we need a leader who can bring the community together, not drive them apart . fingers crossed dan weiss is up for the task!
I'm kinda curious how Weiss is gonna tackle the whole logo rebranding fiasco... some ppl are still salty about it Guess only time'll tell if he can bring stability & positivity back to the museum But one thing's for sure, the Met & Haverford College had their share of drama while he was in charge
