French minister under fire for Playboy magazine cover | CNN

idk what's up with marlene schiappa rn... she's always been vocal about women's rights and all that jazz, but i guess some ppl thought it was cool for her to be on playboy just cuz it's a big deal. like, yeah def not appropriate, especially w/ elisabeth borna and others saying so too. schiappa's got a good rep, she's done alot for women & LGBT rights in france... spearheaded that sexual harassment law, yaaas! maybe ppl r just mad cuz she's tryna use her platform 2 promote the cause? idk.

idk why she has to do this 🤷‍♀️. i get it, promoting women's rights is important but can't she just promote them through her actual work? 🙄 looks like more like a publicity stunt to me. and now ppl are questioning her judgment because of it... doesn't seem like the best move to me 😐.

I gotta say, I'm kinda disappointed in Marlene Schiappa for this one 🤔. I mean, don't get me wrong, she's been doing great work for women's rights and all that, but appearing on the cover of Playboy just seems like a bit too much, you know? It feels like she's trying to use her platform for personal gain, rather than staying focused on the issues at hand 🤑.

And yeah, I get that it's about promoting awareness and equality, but come on, is this really the best way to do it? Can't we just have a straight-up conversation without all the drama and controversy surrounding it? It feels like she's more worried about being seen as "feminist cool" rather than actually making a difference 💁‍♀️.

And let's be real, if a politician can't get elected or re-elected without looking perfect for the camera, then we've got bigger problems in France 🤦‍♂️. Schiappa knows what she's doing, but sometimes you gotta ask yourself if this is all just part of the game 🎮.
