Five people, including two children aged eight and 10, were killed in a Palestinian territory strike by Israeli forces on Wednesday. The Gaza Civil Defence Agency reported that the strike occurred near the Kuwaiti field hospital in Khan Younis, where it targeted a shelter camp.
According to Mahmud Bassal, spokesperson for the civil defence agency, five citizens lost their lives as a result of the missile strike, with others injured, some seriously. The Israeli military claimed that they had struck a Hamas terrorist in southern Gaza after clashing with Palestinian militants in the area, which left five soldiers wounded.
However, a fragile US-brokered ceasefire agreement has largely halted fighting between Israel and Hamas since its implementation on October 10. Despite this, both sides have accused each other of violating the terms.

. It's so heartbreaking to think about. The ceasefire agreement was supposed to be holding, but it looks like both sides are still at it. I mean, can't we just find some way to coexist peacefully?

5 innocent kids dead? That's not even the point, it's the fact that these conflicts never seem to end. Like, how many times have we seen this happen? Israel's got its reasons, but does anyone else ever think about the civilians caught in the middle? And what's with all these ceasefire agreements? We know they're not always respected...

i dont think either side can claim theyre not doing something stupid its like both israel and hamas are just playing chicken over there and its a lot of innocent ppl getting hurt in the crossfire ugh 
What's going on here?! First you got some Israeli 'operation' and BAM! 5 civilians are dead! I mean, I know conflict zones can be messy but come on! 
And then they're saying it was Hamas terrorists, but what about all the kids caught in the crossfire? That's just heartbreaking. 
that's some serious stuff. But at the same time, I feel like both sides are just using these ceasefire agreements as a way to avoid real accountability. It's all just a bunch of smoke and mirrors, if you ask me.
