You know what's wild? We're living in a time where tech companies are literally trying to make money off our bodily fluids
. Like, I get it, withings is onto something with their urine test kit - it could be a game changer for people who need quick medical attention. But can't we focus on more pressing issues... like actually fixing the planet? Meanwhile, Samsung and OnePlus are over here making phone after phone, and Honda's trying to sell us on this electric kei car that sounds like a cartoon character
.
And what's up with all these kei cars, anyway? They're just tiny little vehicles, but people are going wild for them. It's like they're trying to make a statement about the future of transportation or something. I guess it's a step in the right direction, though - electric vehicles and all that jazz.
One thing that did catch my eye was OnePlus' new phone announcement. The Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 chipset sounds like some fancy tech speak... but hey, if it makes for a better phone experience, then more power to 'em
. What I do wish is that companies would focus on making sustainable materials and practices instead of just touting their latest gadgets as "the best thing since sliced bread".
