Glyph by Ali Smith review – bearing witness to the war in Gaza

This new novel Glyph by Ali Smith is like, totally blowing my mind 🤯. I mean, I've read some intense stuff before, but this one is on a whole different level. The way she's tackling the apartheid policies in Palestine and the violence that comes with it is just heart-wrenching 😔. And the way she's using language to explore power and identity... it's like a punch to the gut 💪.

I love how Smith isn't shying away from the tough topics, but instead is using them as a springboard for some really deep reflection on what it means to be human 🤝. And the imagery! Oh man, the imagery in this book is just stunning 🔥. It's like she's taking all these different threads of history and mythology and weaving them together into something totally new and powerful.

For me, as someone who's always been passionate about using my own voice to make a difference, Glyph is more than just a novel – it's a call to action 🗣️. It's making me think about how I can use language and literature to bring attention to the issues that matter most to me, and to be more mindful of the power of words in shaping our world.
