Google brings its Nano Banana image generator to Chrome

Google has rolled out several new features to its Chrome browser, all of which are powered by its Gemini AI assistant. The first of these features is a sidebar that allows users to chat with Gemini across multiple tabs at once. According to Google, this interface is useful for multitaskers who need to compare options or summarize information in different tabs.

In addition to the new sidebar, Google is also making its in-house image generator, Nano Banana, available directly inside Chrome. This means users won't have to open a new tab or download an app to access Gemini's image generation capabilities.

Looking ahead, Google plans to bring more features powered by Gemini to Chrome in the coming months. One of these features is Personal Intelligence, which will allow the browser to remember past conversations with Gemini and provide a more personalized browsing experience. This feature is expected to debut in the near future, although an exact timeline has not been announced.

Gemini in Chrome already supports Google's Connected Apps feature, which allows the assistant to pull information from other company services, such as Gmail and Calendar. A recent demo showed how this feature can be used to find and purchase items online by using Gemini to search for specific products based on past purchases or preferences.

Finally, Google is previewing a new auto browse feature that uses Gemini to automate tasks such as shopping and browsing. This feature will allow users to save time and effort by having Gemini take care of these tasks for them. While the feature is still in development, it may appeal to those who are creatures of habit and regularly complete similar tasks online.

Overall, Google's continued expansion of Gemini-powered features in Chrome suggests a commitment to improving the browsing experience with AI-driven tools and services.

omg u know i was just thinking about how much i hated waiting for pages to load on chrome lol but now they got this auto browse feature that uses nano banana ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ‘€ it's like having ur own personal shopping assistant built in the browser cant wait to try it out and see if its as cool as it sounds

omg u think google's new chrome updates r cool ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘€ i mean whats not 2 love? no more downloading apps or opening new tabs just 2 access all these sick features powered by gemini ai ๐Ÿ’ป๐ŸŽจ so multitaskers can compare options n summarize info in diff tabs w/o having 2 do it manually lol genius! & i feel like personal intelligence r gonna take browsing 2 the next level ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ซ cant wait 4 gemini 2 remember past convo's & provide a more personalized experience ๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ‘ but auto browse feature? that sounds like sci-fi stuff ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ’ป do u think it'll work w/o making u feel all automated n robot-y? ๐Ÿค”

OMG ๐Ÿคฏ I mean, have you seen the new features on Chrome? They're so cool! The new sidebar is like, super useful for multitaskers ๐Ÿ™Œ. And now we can even use Gemini's image generator directly in Chrome ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ‘€. I love that they're working on Personal Intelligence, it'll be so personalized and convenient ๐Ÿ’ป. The auto browse feature sounds like a game changer too ๐Ÿ•’๏ธ. AI is the future, right? ๐Ÿ˜… Can't wait to try them all out! ๐Ÿ‘

I'm so done with how easy this new sidebar thingy is gonna make people get distracted while browsing . Like, I know it's super convenient for multitaskers or whatever but what about people who just wanna focus on one thing without all these tabs popping up? ๐Ÿคฃ And another thing, if Google starts using my browsing history to personalize everything... that's just creepy. But at the same time, I guess it is kinda cool that I can get images and stuff from Nano Banana directly in Chrome . Maybe this Gemini AI thing is actually gonna make Chrome more interesting? ๐Ÿ˜’

OMG you guys ๐Ÿคฏ, Google just dropped some serious AI-powered upgrades for Chrome! Like, I'm all about multitasking on my laptop rn ๐Ÿ”, and now I can just chat with Gemini across multiple tabs at once? Genius ๐Ÿ’ก (also, can we talk about how "Nano Banana" is literally the most relatable name for an image generator? ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ˜‚). Seriously though, having those conversations saved so I don't have to start from scratch each time would be a total game-changer. Personal Intelligence sounds like the ultimate browser upgrade โ€“ AI-powered memories and all that jazz ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ”‘...can't wait to see how this plays out!

I'm not convinced about this whole AI thing just yet ๐Ÿค”... I mean, sure, it sounds cool that you can have a convo with Gemini in your browser sidebar, but do we really need another interface to clutter up our screens? And what's the point of having a personal assistant remember past conversations if it's just gonna start pushing ads at us based on our history? ๐Ÿ“ฆ Not buying it. I'd rather see Google focus on improving the actual browsing experience rather than throwing more bells and whistles at us. And what about all the security concerns around having AI-powered tools like Gemini integrated into our browsers? Just seems like a recipe for disaster to me ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. Can we just wait and see how this whole Gemini thing plays out before getting too excited? ๐Ÿคž

I remember when I first started using Chrome and how frustrating it was to have to switch between tabs to get information from different sources ๐Ÿคฏ. But now that they've integrated Gemini into the browser, it's like having my own personal assistant right in front of me! ๐Ÿ˜Š The idea of being able to chat with Gemini across multiple tabs at once is genius - I can finally keep track of all my research without having to switch between tabs every 2 seconds ๐Ÿ’ก.

I'm also super excited about the image generator, Nano Banana ๐ŸŽจ. I've used it before in other apps and it's always been so much fun to generate random art on the fly. Now that it's integrated into Chrome, I can use it anywhere I want without having to open a new tab or app ๐Ÿค—.

The Personal Intelligence feature is also going to be huge for me - being able to have past conversations with Gemini and get personalized recommendations based on my browsing history will make my online experience so much smoother ๐Ÿ™Œ. Can't wait to see what other features they come up with next! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

omg I'm so confused how does the new sidebar work? can you have like 5 tabs open at the same time and chat with gemini on each one? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’ป and what's up with nano banana? is it just for making memes now? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘€ I feel like I need to know more about personal intelligence before I get too hyped... will gemini remember my browsing history and stuff? ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Wow ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm low-key excited about this new feature. Imagine being able to summarize notes from different tabs at once - that's total productivity mode ๐Ÿ’ป! And not having to open another tab or app to get Gemini's image generator is a sick win ๐Ÿคฉ. But, like, what if it gets too smart and starts making weird suggestions? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Can't wait to see how this all plays out!

I'm low-key excited about these new features for Chrome ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘€. I mean, who doesn't want an AI assistant that can summarize info from different tabs at once? It's like having your own personal research assistant... but, tbh, it feels a bit gimmicky ๐Ÿ˜. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about progress and innovation, but sometimes these new features just feel like trying to cram too much into one browser. Can we just have a simple browsing experience without all the bells and whistles? ๐Ÿ™„

And what's up with this auto browse feature? Sounds like it could be helpful for people who are really consistent in their online shopping habits, but I'm not sure about those of us who like to mix things up ๐Ÿ’ธ. Plus, it just feels a bit... creepy that your browser is taking care of tasks for you without you even realizing it ๐Ÿค–.

Overall, I think Google's trying to play catch-up with the likes of Microsoft Edge and Firefox, which already have AI-powered features built-in ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Can't wait to see how these new features pan out! ๐Ÿ’ป

I'm so done with how clunky the Chrome interface is ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ’ป. Can't they just simplify things already? I mean, introducing a new sidebar for chatting with Gemini is cool, but it's still gonna take some time to get used to. And what's up with Nano Banana being stuck inside Chrome? Why not make it a standalone app or something?! ๐Ÿ˜’

And don't even get me started on the Connected Apps feature ๐Ÿคฏ. I mean, I love how Gemini can pull info from my Google services and all, but come on! Can't we just have one seamless experience across apps without having to jump around? ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

The auto browse feature sounds kinda cool, I guess ๐Ÿค”. It's always nice to save some time while browsing, but at the same time... I don't know if I want a robot doing my shopping for me ๐Ÿ˜…. There's just something satisfying about manually searching and finding stuff online.

I'm hyped for Personal Intelligence though ๐Ÿ”ฅ. The idea of having past conversations with Gemini remembered is so neat! It'll make Chrome feel way more personalized and convenient. Fingers crossed they actually get this feature out soon ๐Ÿคž

I think its SO COOL that google is adding more AI powered features to chrome! ๐Ÿ’ป The new sidebar for chatting with gemini across multiple tabs at once is gonna make me life so much easier! ๐Ÿ˜‚ I can just imagine being able to compare info in different tabs and having gemini summarize it all for me. That would be AMAZING!!! ๐Ÿคฏ And the fact that nano banana's image generation capabilities are now directly inside chrome is like, totally genius! ๐ŸŽจ How many times have i opened a new tab or downloaded an app just to use gemini's image generator? TONS!! ๐Ÿ™„ So glad google is making it easier for us to access all those features. Can't wait to see what other cool stuff they come up with in the future! ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿค” so this new Gemini powered chrome browser stuff is cool and all, but how accurate are these predictions and timelines? like, they said it would come out soon, but we've heard that before... ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ I need to see some real-world testing and user reviews before I start using it. what's the actual benefit of having a sidebar chat with Gemini across multiple tabs? is it just gonna be a distraction or will it actually make my browsing experience better? ๐Ÿ’ป

I don't usually comment but... I think its kinda cool that Google is pushing AI tech into Chrome ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ’ป. The new sidebar for chatting with Gemini across multiple tabs at once seems super useful for people who like to multitask, and the image generator Nano Banana is a nice touch too ๐Ÿ“ธ. I'm curious to see how Personal Intelligence will work out - having Gemini remember past conversations could be pretty handy ๐Ÿ‘. But I do wonder if Google's gonna open up these features to other browsers or keep them exclusive to Chrome ๐Ÿ˜Š.

๐Ÿค” just got to know that Google's working on some crazy stuff ๐Ÿคฏ like having a live chat sidebar with Gemini on multiple tabs at once! it sounds so useful for multitaskers, but also kinda creepy ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ who needs their browser to remember past conversations? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ still hyped tho about the new image generator Nano Banana though ๐ŸŽจ can already imagine creating sick art in chrome ๐Ÿ’ป

๐Ÿค– I'm low-key obsessed with how far Google is taking Gemini's capabilities in Chrome! The new sidebar is so convenient, especially for those who are always juggling multiple tabs at once. And can we talk about the image generator Nano Banana? ๐Ÿ’ก It's like having a mini AI studio right in your browser ๐ŸŽจ

But what I'm most hyped about is Personal Intelligence - it's going to take Gemini's chatbot game to a whole new level! Imagine being able to have a more personalized browsing experience, where your favorite sites and preferences are always remembered ๐Ÿค“

And can we talk about the auto browse feature? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ It's like having a virtual assistant who knows exactly what you need without even asking. I'm not saying it's perfect yet, but Google is definitely on the right track with Gemini-powered features in Chrome ๐Ÿ”ฅ

You know what's crazy about AI? Like, have you ever noticed how sometimes they can generate these insane images from nothing? I was messing around with Nano Banana earlier and it created this ridiculous cat wearing sunglasses ๐Ÿคช... I mean, who comes up with that?! Anyway, back to Chrome. I'm still not sure if having Gemini as a chatbot in the sidebar is gonna make my life easier or just more distracting ๐Ÿค”. I've got too many tabs open already!

Omg, I'm so stoked about these new updates to Chrome ๐Ÿคฉ! The new sidebar that lets me chat w/ Gemini across multiple tabs at once is a total game-changer for multitaskers like myself ๐Ÿ’ป. And can we talk about how cool it is that Nano Banana is now directly inside Chrome? No more downloading apps or opening new tabs, yay! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm also hyped about the Personal Intelligence feature ๐Ÿค”, which means Gemini will remember past conversations and provide a more personalized browsing experience. It's like having my own personal assistant built right into Chrome ๐Ÿ’ช.

And auto-browse? Yes please! ๐Ÿ›๏ธ I mean, who doesn't want to save time and effort while shopping online? It's all about convenience, am I right? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I'm loving the direction Google is taking with Gemini-powered features in Chrome. More innovation and AI-driven tools = a better browsing experience for everyone! ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ’ซ

OMG ๐Ÿคฏ I'm loving these new updates to Chrome! The idea of being able to chat with Gemini across multiple tabs at once is super useful for me when I have multiple tabs open for different tasks. Like, I'll be researching something in one tab while comparing prices on another - it's gonna make life so much easier! ๐Ÿคฉ And the fact that Nano Banana is coming as a built-in feature? Genius! ๐Ÿ’ก I'm also excited to see how Personal Intelligence will enhance my browsing experience with Chrome. It sounds like Google is really committed to making this AI thing work for users, not just for the sake of innovation... ๐Ÿ˜Š
