Grateful Dead's legendary Bob Weir once granted wish of California boy fighting leukemia

just heard about this and its so beautiful πŸ™πŸ‘, i mean what can you do but feel all warm inside when you hear about someone granting a kid's wish? especially one who was going through cancer treatment... like, that 'blackbird' song is just the icing on the cake πŸ°πŸ’•, anyway, imo its great to see people like bob weir using their platform for good πŸ‘, and i hope joe knudsen & his fam get to celebrate weirs life at that memorial in sf - they'll def need it 😊

omg u guys cant even imagine how emotional this story is lol 🀯 bob weirs last wish was literally fulfilled thru a kid he never got to meet his family or see him perform again but just being with him for one day changed their life forever πŸ‘» his mom still gets teary eyes thinking about it 🎢 the song he played for joe is literally so beautiful its like meant 4 them 🌟 i feel so bad he's gone now but at least we get to see this amazing memory of a kid who got 2 meet his idol πŸ’–

That's so amazing πŸ’– what an incredible experience for Joe and his mom! It's beautiful how Bob Weir went out of his way to make their day special πŸŽ‰ I can only imagine how surreal it must have been for a 7-year-old boy to meet his musical hero, let alone play mini golf and have fast food together πŸ˜‚. And that song choice by Weir is so thoughtful - I can see why it holds such significance for Joe's treatment journey πŸ’•. The Make-A-Wish Foundation really made a difference in their lives, and it's amazing how one wish can create lifelong memories 🌟. It's also lovely to see the impact it had on Joe's family as a whole, during such a tough time πŸ€—. Sending love and positive vibes to Joe and his mom as they celebrate this incredible experience πŸ’«
