, i mean what can you do but feel all warm inside when you hear about someone granting a kid's wish? especially one who was going through cancer treatment... like, that 'blackbird' song is just the icing on the cake

bob weirs last wish was literally fulfilled thru a kid he never got to meet his family or see him perform again but just being with him for one day changed their life forever 
his mom still gets teary eyes thinking about it 
the song he played for joe is literally so beautiful its like meant 4 them 
i feel so bad he's gone now but at least we get to see this amazing memory of a kid who got 2 meet his idol 
I can only imagine how surreal it must have been for a 7-year-old boy to meet his musical hero, let alone play mini golf and have fast food together 
. And that song choice by Weir is so thoughtful - I can see why it holds such significance for Joe's treatment journey
