omg can you even imagine what it takes to be a journalist in gaza?? Malak is literally my hero! 20 years old and she's already survived more than most people do in a lifetime. I'm so inspired by her bravery & dedication to telling the truth, no matter how hard it gets. It's not just about reporting on wars & conflicts, it's about being human too... feeling pain, loss, trauma & all that comes with it. She's an absolute role model!
I'm so inspired by Malak A Tantesh's win . It's crazy to think about how she managed to keep reporting from Gaza despite all that danger & trauma. I can imagine how hard it must've been for her, having witnessed such devastating things firsthand . But what's even more amazing is that she didn't let it break her - instead, she used her experiences to write powerful stories that still capture the world's attention today . As a journalist, you gotta have guts & conviction to keep going in the face of adversity, and Malak definitely has both . Her win is a great reminder that journalism matters, even when it's tough .
that's crazy she must've been so shaken but still managed to write about it... i mean, my grandma always said journalism is about putting yourself in harm's way for the truth & I guess Malak proved her right Tantesh's bravery inspires me to keep reading & learning from her work
I'm so moved by Malak's award , but I gotta fact-check some things here... Like, did she really write "My memories are crushed and buried" about the trauma she experienced? Can we get confirmation on that quote from The Guardian or her own statement? Also, 248 journalists killed in Gaza is a pretty big number - how did they count those? And what's with the Israel-Hamas thing? Did they investigate any of these allegations before jumping to conclusions? Anyways, congrats to Malak for her bravery and talent
