'He was, above all, a treasured spirit, who understood how vital music is for the human soul': tributes to Andrew Clements

omg i'm so sorry to hear that andrew clements passed away 🙏... i've never heard of him before but it sounds like he was an amazing music critic and journalist who really understood the power of music on people's lives 💖... i love how many musicians mentioned how his words made them feel proud or motivated, even when they were being critiqued - that's such a powerful thing for artists 🎨... and i'm intrigued by his passion for bird-watching? 🐦🌿 did he really write about birds all the time? 😂... what was it like reading his reviews, were they always so insightful and passionate? 💭... did anyone think that being called out by him was a badge of honor? 🤔... it's sad to hear that he won't be writing any more music reviews but at least we have these amazing tributes to remember him by 💕

I gotta say... I'm torn about this tribute thingy... 🤔 on Andrew Clements. Like, some people are saying he's a music legend and stuff, but then others are all "yeah, but his writing was so good it was always worth the wait" - which is like, kinda ironic considering he had a hard time meeting deadlines 😂.

And don't even get me started on the festivals thing... I mean, I love birds, but is that really what Andrew Clements was all about? 🐦 Like, maybe he liked festivals because they were fun and stuff, but did it have anything to do with his music reviews?

But at the same time... like, if his writing inspired people to be proud of their music, then I'm good with that. And those quotes from other musicians are really cool - it's nice to see how Andrew Clements affected people's careers.

I guess what I'm saying is... Andrew Clements was a complicated person, and this tribute is like trying to sum up his entire life in a nutshell 🌰... which, let's be real, is impossible.
