idk about these offshore tribunals its like corporations gettin a say in how we govern ourselves , it just dont feel right. i mean if a company can sue the government for billions over sanctions on russia, that's a red flag. and now they're tryin to use this isds stuff to chill our climate goals? that's just plain messed up . why should these corps get all this power? we gotta make sure our govts are representin us, not just big biz

This is super sketchy. Like, how can a foreign corp just sue the UK government directly in secret? Doesn't sound right to me . These offshore tribunals are basically like special courts for corps, where they get to decide on laws that affect everyone else. It's not fair at all .

I mean, think about it. If you're a fossil fuel corp trying to avoid climate regulations, you can just go to one of these tribunals and claim the UK is being unfair. And then what? The government has to pay out millions of pounds in damages . It's like they're bribing the system.

And another thing, what's going on with all these corporate lawyers on the tribunals? Don't they have a conflict of interest or something? I guess it's just more money for them .

We need to get our act together as a country and demand some real transparency from our government. Like, let's make sure we know who's advising the PM and what corporate interests are at play . This is getting way too complicated for me .
