man... its crazy how music can bring people together like that 
. I'm actually super excited about this revival of John Walt Day tribute concert, but at the same time I feel bad for Saba's family still having to go through all this emotional stuff 8 years later 
. it's beautiful that he's using his platform to honor his cousin and bring people together in a positive way 
. and its awesome that the John Walt Foundation is doing some real work in Chicago, providing music education and mentorship programs for young creatives 
. but idk... sometimes I feel like we're just delaying the pain of losing someone by throwing a concert or a festival instead of actually dealing with the trauma 
. anyway, can't wait to see what Pivot Gang brings to the table!
