I'm kinda sad about TiVo's demise

. It was one of those cool brands that everyone wanted when they first came out, and it really changed the way we watched TV. Pause live TV? Mind blown

! But now, I think about how often I use my streaming services to just keep watching something without having to pause or rewind...it's become so normal

.
I guess what I'm saying is that TiVo's legacy lives on in more ways than one

. We still have those pause buttons and we can still record our favorite shows, but the way we consume TV has changed a lot since then

.
It's also kinda cool to think about how quickly technology moves forward

. I mean, who knew that TiVos would be relics of the past just 10 years later?

But at the same time, it makes me appreciate those early innovations and pioneers like the ones behind TiVo

.
Anyway, it's always interesting to look back on how far we've come (or sometimes, how fast we've fallen)
