Hudson’s Detroit announces rooftop bar Pine Hall - Detroit Metro Times

Union Square Hospitality Group's latest venture, Pine Hall, is set to debut this spring at Hudson’s Detroit, the city's new skyscraper inspired by a beloved eatery that once occupied its site. The rooftop bar will be a neighborhood hub, designed to bring people together and become a staple of the local community.

Founded by James Beard Award-winning restaurant group, Union Square Hospitality Group, Pine Hall marks the company's first foray into Detroit. Behind the iconic Shake Shack burger chain, this new project promises an authentic experience that blends with the city's unique character.

Danny Meyer, CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group, describes Pine Hall as a neighborhood bar that aims to become part of Detroiters' regular rotation. "We want it to be a locals joint that brings people together and fits whatever the moment calls for," he said in a statement.

This rooftop oasis is expected to seat around 300 guests, featuring an outdoor deck with stunning views of downtown Detroit. The bar will be designed to accommodate all manner of gatherings, from casual meetups to more formal events.

With its debut approaching, fans of great food and drink can look forward to experiencing the best of Union Square Hospitality Group's expertise in a new Detroit setting.

🤔 I'm kinda stoked about Pine Hall opening up in Detroit this spring! I mean, who doesn't love a good rooftop bar with sick views of the city? It's like they're bringing that NYC vibe to Motor City 🌆. The fact that it'll be a neighborhood hub is pretty cool too - I can already imagine it being the spot for happy hour gatherings and impromptu meetups. Danny Meyer's vision of it being a "locals joint" is right on point, tbh 😊. Can't wait to try out their drinks and grub when it opens up! 👍

🍴👏 oh man i'm so hyped for Pine Hall to open up!! i've been following Danny Meyer and his team's projects for ages and this one sounds like it's gonna be fire 🤩 their rooftop bar concept is everything and more - who wouldn't want a spot with stunning views of downtown Detroit? seating for 300 guests, outdoor deck, all sorts of gatherings... it's like the ultimate neighborhood spot 💡 i'm already imagining sipping on some craft cocktails while snacking on some delicious eats 🍔🌮 can't wait to try it out this spring! 🌞

🤔 I'm kinda excited about Pine Hall, but also got some reservations 🙅‍♂️. On one hand, it sounds like they're trying to create this cool neighborhood spot that brings people together, which is awesome 💕. I mean, who doesn't love a good rooftop bar with great views of the city? But at the same time, I'm not sure if a big chain like Union Square Hospitality Group can truly fit in with Detroit's unique character 🤷‍♂️. I've been to Shake Shack before and it was just okay for me 🤔. Can they really make Pine Hall stand out from the crowd? And how will they balance making it a "locals joint" with catering to tourists who are already flocking to the city's new skyscraper? Only time will tell, I guess 🕰️.

man I'm hyped for this Pine Hall thingy 🤩 it's gonna be sick having Shake Shack vibes on the rooftop bar at Hudson's Detroit gotta love how they're tryna make it a neighborhood spot where people can hang out and chill... 300 guests is a decent size, not too crazy but still big enough to get some energy going 👍 gotta respect Danny Meyer's vision for creating a locals joint that's all about community vibes 🌆. spring can't come soon enough!

man i think pine hall is gonna be super crowded from the start 🤯 they're trying to create this "locals joint" vibe but let's be real who's actually going to frequent a rooftop bar that pricey? plus the views of detroit are already iconic what more can they offer? still, might be cool for foodies and shake shack fans 👀
