This is super frustrating for families like that one... I mean, you'd think that when a law firm closes down, the files would just be handed over to the new solicitor who takes over the case, but apparently not! And what's even worse is that staff and trainee solicitors got sacked without warning... it's like they were just thrown under the bus. And now these families are stuck in limbo while the SRA tries to figure out what happened with those firms. It's a bit of a mess, right?
