'I will finish your work': one woman's fight for the Jewish art and letters her mother saved from the Nazis

🙌 This is insane! I mean, can you even imagine having your art and letters from WW2 being confiscated by the communists?! Like, what even is that?! It's crazy that it took Judy King 30+ years to get them back! And I love how her mom Helga was an anglophile who would've loved to see this happen - talk about closure for the family! The fact that these artworks are now being preserved at the Wiener Holocaust Library is just incredible 📚💕

OMG, I'm literally so happy for Judy King!! 🤩 She's been working on this for like, forever! It's crazy how much effort it took to get that suitcase back from customs and finally return those beautiful artworks to their rightful owner... her mom's art 😊. Can you even imagine the emotional weight of holding onto something so precious for over 30 years?! I'm getting chills just thinking about it 💕. I hope Judy gets to see Peter Kien's artwork displayed in a special exhibit at the Wiener Holocaust Library soon! 🎨💫

What an incredible reunion for Judy King! I mean, can you even imagine having to live with those beautiful artworks and letters locked away from you for over 30 years?! It's like they say, "time heals all wounds" but in this case, it took a whole lot of patience and perseverance. Kudos to Judy and her cousin, Peter, for fighting so hard to get that suitcase back! It's amazing how one person's love story can transcend time and borders like that. And I'm sure Helga Wolfenstein would be smiling down on them if she knew her art was finally home 🙏💕
