This recent ICE raid at a daycare in Chicago is just heartbreaking... parents are already so worried about their kids, now they're being made to feel even more scared & anxious because of these raids! I can only imagine how traumatizing it must have been for Diana and Adam's little one watching those agents take her away. ICE needs to think about the impact their actions have on families, not just the parents but also the kids... they're like sponges soaking up all this fear & uncertainty!

I mean, can you imagine showing up to drop off your kid at daycare and seeing ICE agents just storming in? it's traumatic, plain and simple . what does that say about our society when we're more afraid of the law than we are for our kids' safety? . but you know what the real tragedy is? it's not even about the parents or the teachers getting taken away... it's about the trauma those little kids are going to carry with them for the rest of their lives . like, imagine having to learn that your school is a place where fear and anxiety live... how does that shape you as a person? . we need to think about this more than just as an outrage against ICE... we need to think about what it says about us as human beings .
The whole situation at Rayito de Sol daycare in Chicago is super messed up . I mean, can you imagine showing up to drop off your little one and having ICE agents just swoop in? It's like something out of a horror movie . Parents are already stressing about making ends meet, let alone worrying about their kids being taken away by law enforcement. And the fact that this is happening in schools is especially disturbing . I feel so bad for the families affected and for the teachers who just lost their jobs like that . We need to do more to protect these communities from ICE's aggressive tactics . It's not right that people have to live in fear of being taken away from their loved ones just because they're undocumented .
